Hi-Gloss Sublimation Film for Soft Substrates

Subli Vista Hi-Gloss Sublimation Film for Soft Substrates is a professional grade product and is specifically designed for Sublimation Printing, Substrate Sealing & Professional Finishing, 

This product has been designed for use on Soft Substrates. It is lightweight and perfect for applying to Balsa Wood, Composites, Card, MDF, Fabrics, Hardboards, Faux Leather, PU Materials, Cork, and many, many more.

We have created this product because often these more delicate materials are not available for DIY spraying or painting with sublimation coatings then curing in an oven. By using Subli Vista Sublimation films you can now bring these products into your product ranges because curing or oven use is not required. Just experiment and open up a whole new world of DIY sublimation products you can adorn with your designs, art, or creativity.

Sublimation Printing

Heat press the film onto the substrate then let cool for a few minutes before pressing your image onto the film and you will be amazed at the results.

We have designed our films to be used on a natural wooden surface as well as a white finished wooden surface such as colour laminated MDF or Hard Boards, White Faux Leather or PU Materials - no need for a white undercoat!

Substrate Sealing

If you want to sublimation print onto a porous surface such MDF, chipboard etc., but you find your sprays are soaking in too much, and the finished print is not to standard, simply seal the surface first with Subli Vista Sublimation Films.  Once the films are applied to the substrate surface you can use Subli Vista Sublimation sprays to create a professional standard of print. For a white background simply apply the film, then apply 2 layers of white brilliance undercoat, then 2 layers of Hi-Gloss or Satin Sheen then cure as normal. 

Professional Finishing 

Applying Subli Vista Sublimation Films to a picture or design will give you a professional finish to most prints from your desktop printer.

*Please note, heat values and times may vary depending on the brand, model, and age of your heat press, so use our published temperatures & times as a guide only.

I M P O R T A N T    I N F O R M A T I O N    P L E A S E    R E A D

·       You must ensure you are pressing the film with the glue side down towards the substrate otherwise you may cause the film to stick to your heat press or other machinery you may use for pressing the film. If this occurs in many cases you can let the heat press cool and then carefully remove. Never touch a hot heat press and always follow the manufacturers guide lines.

·       We recommend using a Teflon sheet between the film and the heat platen to protect your heat press should the film be pressed accidentally the wrong way round.

·       Read the instructions carefully before use and test the film first to ensure suitability for your requirements before entering into production.                   

·       Use as instructed and only for the purpose described for this product. 

·       When not in use keep the film in the box and out of direct sunlight, avoid heat and cold extremes, and do not expose to excessive humidity.

·       Sample test this product on your chosen substrate for suitability before use.

·       Before use you must take care to ensure the receiving substrate surface is clean, dry and free from dust or grease because this could be detrimental to the overall performance of the film.

·       Please note all values, times and temperatures seen here are approximate and should be used only as a guideline.

·       Do not expose the film to excessive heat, cold or damp conditions.
